Welcome to Ladakh – extending from the Glaciers to the Great Himalayas, Ladakh is a land like no other. The adventure starts with your arrival at Leh Airport where you will be received by our representative and will take you to the hotel. We highly recommend you to take a half day rest to get acclimatized with the atmosphere, allow you to settle in and rest up the first day before we start exploring stunning landscapes and roads. By afternoon our Supported Team leader will meet you at Hotel and brief you about the Trip 2022 at the Hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in leh.
After a relaxing breakfast we will hit the road towards the confluence of Indus and Zanskar river, popularly known as Sangam point . It is one of the famous site in Ladakh. On our way back to Leh, we will stop at Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib – Gurudwara, Spituk Monastery, Hall of fame (A museum in memory of the brave Indian soldiers), we will also visit Shanti Stupa. The drive will be 120kms in total for sightseeing. Overnight stay at hotel in Leh City.
Right after breakfast we take a ride to the breathtaking Nubra Valley only 130 kilometers from Leh . We ride through the epic Khardung La Mountain Pass, the highest motorable road in the world which is the gateway to Nubra Valley. Continuing on your way down from the pass , the valley is famous because for its sand dunes with white rolling sands and the sight of the double humped Bactrian Camels. Your stop for the night will be at Hunder Village.
Early morning we will drive towards the Turtuk village via Bogdang. We will drive 180km round trip and we will also go to see Thang Village from Tyakshi. Spend some time in Turtuk and back to Hunder. O/n in Hunder Village.
After breakfast we will drive towards Pangong Lake via Shayok Road in the east of Ladakh , bordering China. There are many chances to see wildlife on this section of your journey, so be sure to keep your eyes on the landscape. Reach Pangong Lake in the afternoon, your first impression will be the spectacular mineral colours in the lake. By nightfall, your eyes will turn to the skies as you witness some of the planet’s most spectacular starscapes . Identify a suitable campsite at the mandated distance from Pangong Lake, make camp and enjoy the incredible night sky.
Today we will head back to Leh, you will be able to capture a beautiful Time Lapse of the sunrise at the Pangong Lake this morning. On our way back we cross Chang La pass at an elevation of 5360m, it is the third highest motorable road in the world, we will take a break for a moment to enjoy breathtaking view and the gorgeous views of rolling valleys. Less than 20km from Leh town, we will stop to visit Thiksey Monastery built in 1430 AD and the Rancho’s school . We will Reach leh by evening . Overnight stay in Leh.
After the breakfast we will leave for Leh Airport ,its time for your departure. We hope you depart with happy and vivid memories of this enchanting, mysterious landscape and we look forward to welcoming you again in Ladakh.
