D M L S 12 Days Bike Trip Itinerary

Day 1DELHI TO MANALI (VOLVO BUS)

All the participants have to reach Delhi by 03:00 Pm. In Delhi You have to reach at Rama Krishna Ashram Marg Metro station, Piller no 09. You need to reach at above address by yourself and from there our journey will start towards Manali and our Team will share all kind of contact details to reach easily at Volvo boarding point where our Volvo bus will be waiting for you. After riders Check into the Volvo bus, we will start our overnight journey towards Manali.

Day 2Reach at Manali

  • Early morning you will reached at Manali, from there you need to reach at hotel.
  • For Hotel details you can contact concern sales person and proceed with the check-in. After check-in into the hotel you can take some rest and visit nearby places at Manali like Mall road, Hadimba Devi Temple.
  • In evening you will have a briefing session at 7:00pm there you’ll meet the team marshal and the marshal will brief you about the routes, rules regulations, and the marshal will explain you in detail how to ride in the Himalayas.
  • Overnight stay at Manali.

Day 3Manali To Serchu Via Baralacha Pass

  • Early morning after breakfast we will ride towards Serchu.
  • Travel distance and time (180km/7-8hrs).
  • Terrain type (intermediate).
  • The Atal tunnel which is 9km long and it is the longest highway tunnel above 10000 feet (3,048 m) in the world.
  • On the way we will visit the beautiful valley of Lahaul and you need to cross Sisu, Keylong, Jispa and Darcha.
  • Baralacha pass (15,910 ft) and you get to cross the snow covered Baralacha. Serchu (Border) between Himachal and Ladakh).
  • Overnight stay at swiss camp in Serchu.

Day 4Serchu To Leh Via Tanglang La Pass

  • Travel distance and travel time (240 kms/ 07 – 08 hrs) approx.
  • Terrain type ( advance).
  • Crossing 22 Gata loops, Nakila pass, Lachungla pass, and More planes (Kiang Chu Thang) 45kms straight road.
  • You need to cross Tanglang la pass (5328m/17480ft). It is the highest pass on Manali-Leh highway.

  • Leh Altitude- 3500 meters.

Day 5Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La

  • Travel distance and time (130km / 5-6 hours)
  • Terrain type (intermediate)
  • We ride through the epic Khardung La Pass (17582 feet) the highest motorable road.
  • The valley is known for the sand dunes with white rolling sands, and the sight of the double humped Bactrian Camels.
  • Diskit Monastery, the monastery has 33m statue of Maitreya Buddha facing down the shayok river.
  • You can go for an adventure activities at Nubra valley as it is the hub for adventure activities, you can do ATV bike ride, Zip line, Rafting, Go karting and Double humped camel ride.
  • Overnight stay at Swiss camp in Hunder.

Day 6Hunder Turtuk Hunder

  • Today we will ride towards Turtuk village and back to Hundar.
  • Travel distance and time (180 km / 6-7 hours)
  • Terrain type (intermediate)
  • Which is the northernmost village in India situated in the Nubra Valley, on the banks of the Shyok river. It is the Balti region that was under Pakistan’s control until 1971, after which India gained control over this important area.
  • Turtuk is the last out-post of India at Thang after which Pakistan-controlled Gilgit-Baltistan begins.
  • Turtuk is famous for its varieties of fruits, especially apricots.
  • Overnight stay at Hundar

Day 7Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok Route

  • We will ride towards Pangong Lake via Shayok Route (east of Ladakh ), on the border with China.
  • Travel time and distance (7-8 hours /180km approx).
  • Terrain Type (advance level as most of the terrain will be off-roading and water crossings will be there.)
  • You will reach the Lake by evening and you will be surprise to see such a beautiful lake in the middle of mountains.
  • Pangong Tso (high grassland lake) is a high altitude salt water lake, the lake is so huge that 70% of it is in China and 30% is in India.
  • Pangong Lake altitude 4,225m.
  • Overnight stay at Pangong campsite.

Day 8 Pangong Tso to Tsomoriri via Yaya Tso

  • After breakfast we will leave towards Tsomoriri lake Travel time and distance (7-8 hours /180 km approx).
  • Terrain Type (advance level as most of the terrain will be off-roading and water crossings will be there.)
  • On the way you will visit Rezangla War Memorial and Yaya Tso.
  • Tso Moriri lake in Changthang region of Ladakh is one of the most beautiful, calm and sacred (for ladakhis) high altitude lakes in India.
  • The Lake is approximately 29 kilometers long and up to 8 kilometers wide.
  • Tso Moriri attracts a range of wildlife, including migratory birds, marmots and rarely the Tibetan wolves.
  • Overnight stay at Tsomoriri.

Day 9Tsomoriri to Leh via Chumathang

  • Travel distance and travel time (220 kms / 7- 8 hrs) approx.
  • Terrain Type ( Intermediate)
  • On the way you can explore Chumathang (Hot Spring ), Thiksay Monastery and Rancho School.
  • Lunch break at Upshi Village.
  • Evening visit to Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace
  • Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 10Leh to Whakha via Lamayuru

  • Today Morning we’ll depart towards Wakha.
  • Travel distance and time (180km/6-7hrs).
  • Terrain type ( Basic mostly highway).
  • Enroute we’ll cross many famous places like Gurudwara Pathar Sahab, Magnetic Hill, Sham Valley etc.
  • Lamayuru popularly known for its Monastery and Moonland ,a picturesque landscape resembles to the surface of the moon.
  • Crossing Namkila Pass and Fotula Pass
  • You get to visit Maitreya Buddha at Mulbek (stone curved statue).
  • Overnight stay at Wakha.

Day 11Wakha To Sonamarg via Zojila Pass

  • In the morning we will leave towards Sonamarg.
  • Travel distance and time (170km/6-7 hrs).
  • Terrain type (intermediate).
  • Enroute we’ll visit War Memorial at Drass, Drass is world’s second coldest place.
  • On the way we will cross the famous Zojila pass.
  • Today is your last day of Riding.
  • Overnight stay at Sonamarg

Day 12Sonamarg to Srinagar By Tempo Traveller

In the morning after breakfast around 9:00 am we will drop you to the Srinagar Dal lake. Hope you all board the flight with sweet memories and smile on your face. Please review us at our social media site.

  • After processing the booking amount you will get an email confirmation.
  • Once you paid the 100% amount for your booking, you will get an invoice containing all the information about the trip.

  • 45 days before trip departure 70% of total cost 
  • 30 days before trip  departure 100% of total cost

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations are made before 30 days from the date of travel then 20% of the total trip will be charged.
  • Cancellations are made between 15  to 30 days from the date of travel then 50% of the total trip will be charged.
  • Cancellations are made between 0  to 15 days from the date of travel then 100% of the total trip will be charged.

Refund Policy

  • Refund amount will be processed within 2 week on business days.
  • All applicable refunds will be done in the traveler’s Bank Transfer only.

What is the best time to visit Manali Leh Srinagar Bike Trip

June – September are the best months for Delhi  Manali Ladakh Srinagar bike trip, this is the only season when passes are completely open to travel. but if one is not bothered by the cold of winters we also have  bike rides in April towards Aryan valley ( NW of Ladakh)  as the weather gets warmer early than in rest of Ladakh – you can also witness the apricot blossom in full bloom. 07 Days Aryan Valley Bike Trip

Jio connections is available in most part of Ladakh, if you have postpaid sim you can enjoy jio connections. Besides jio, bsnl and airtel also works in Leh.

What kind of clothing is necessary for the trip?

One always needs to be prepared for the cold as even if its summers, while crossing the passes the temperature drops drastically and it’s usually going to be very windy. Cross checking of all the essential items is important.  Most importantly, carry woolen clothing, extra pair of socks and shoes.
