Itinerary

Day 1JAMMU TO WAKHA VIA SRINAGAR

  • Jammu to Wakha | 486 kms / 11-12 hrs
  • On this day you need to reach as early as possible in Jammu so that we can start our journey on time and make it to our destination on time.
  • On the way we will have our breakfast in srinagar.
  • Today we have a long day travelling 486 kms and 11-12 hrs.
  •  On the way we will pass Dr Syama Prasad Mookerjee tunnel, Ramban,Kuth, Srinagar, Sonmarg, Zojila pass, Kargil war memorial and Kargil to reach Wakha Mulbekh.
  • Overnight stay at a Camping site at Wakha Mulbekh.
  • The main  purpose of staying at Wakha Mulbekh is that you have lots of sightseeing tomorrow on the way to Leh and we do not want you to miss any of the sightseeing places. 

Day 2WAKHA TO LEH VIA LAMAYURU

  • Today Morning we’ll depart towards Leh.
  • Travel distance and time (180km/6-7hrs).
  • Terrain type ( Basic mostly highway).
  • Crossing Namkila Pass and Fotula Pass
  • Lamayuru popularly known for its Monastery and Moonland, a picturesque landscape resembles to the surface of the moon.
  • Enroute we’ll cross many famous places like Gurudwara Pathar Sahab, Magnetic Hill, Sham Valley etc.
  • Evening visit to Shanti Stupa.
  • Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 3 LEH TO NUBRA VALLEY VIA KHARDUNGLA PASS

  • Travel distance and time (130km / 5-6 hours)
  • Terrain type (intermediate)
  • We drive through the epic Khardung La Pass (17,982 feet).
  • The valley is known for the sand dunes with white rolling sands, and the sight of the double humped Bactrian Camels.
  • Diskit Monastery, the monastery has 33m statue of Maitreya Buddha facing down the shayok river.
  • You can go for an adventure activities at Nubra valley as it is the hub for adventure activities, you can do ATV bike ride, Zip line, Rafting, Go karting and Double humped camel ride.
  • Overnight stay at Swiss camp in Hunder (3150m).

Day 4HUNDER TURTUK HUNDER

  • Today we will drive towards Turtuk village and back to Hundar.
  • Travel distance and time (180 km / 6-7 hours)
  • Terrain type (intermediate)
  • which is the northernmost village in India situated in the Nubra Valley, on the banks of the Shyok river. It is the Balti region that was under Pakistan’s control until 1971, after which India gained control over this important area.
  • Turtuk is the last out-post of India at Thang after which Pakistan-controlled Gilgit-Baltistan begins.
  • Turtuk is famous for its varieties of fruits, especially apricots.
  • Overnight stay at Swiss camp in Hundar

Day 5NUBRA VALLEY TO PANGONG LAKE VIA SHAYOK

  • We will drive towards Pangong Lake via Shayok Route (east of Ladakh ), on the border with China.
  • Travel time and distance (7-8 hours /180km approx).
  • Terrain Type (advance level as most of the terrain will be off-roading and water crossings will be there.)
  • You will reach the Lake by evening and you will be surprise to see such a beautiful lake in the middle of mountains.
  • Pangong Tso (high grassland lake) is a high altitude salt water lake, the lake is so huge that 70% of it is in China and 30% is in India.
  • Pangong Lake altitude 4,225m.
  • Overnight stay at Pangong.

Day 6 PANGONG LAKE TO LEH VIA CHANGLA PASS

  • Travel distance and time (180km /6-7 hours)
  • Terrain type (Advance).
  • Today we will head back to Leh, early in the morning you will be able to capture a beautiful sunrise Time Lapse at the Pangong Lake.
  • On the way you will cross Chang La at an elevation of 5360m.
  • You will visit Thiksey Monastery built in 1430 AD and Rancho’s school.
  • Overnight stay at Leh.

Day 7LEH TO MANALI VIA TANGLANG LA PASS AND SERCHU

  • Travel distance and travel time (430 kms/ 09 – 10 hrs) approx.
  • You need to cross Tanglang la pass (5328m/17480ft). It is the highest pass on Manali-Leh highway.
  • Crossing 22 Gata loops, Nakila pass, Lachungla pass and Baralacha pass (15,910 ft) and you get to cross the snow covered Baralacha
  • The Atal tunnel which is 9km long and it is the longest highway tunnel above 10000 feet (3,048 m) in the world.
  • Overnight stay at Manali.

Day 8 Manali to Delhi ( Volvo Bus )

Morning at around 10 am after breakfast you will check out the hotel. Keeping your luggage at the reception you will get free time from 10 am- 4pm, you can roam around the market or go to nearby
places like Mall road, Hadimba Devi Temple. At 4pm, everyone will meet at volvo bus stand.
Overnight journey from Manali to Delhi.

Day 9 Reached Delhi

You will reach Delhi around 9 -10am which can delay incase of heavy traffic. Journey ends with Sweet Memories of Ladakh.

  • Booking amount 3,000/- (Non Refundable and Non Adjustable)
  • 40 Days before the trip departure 60% of the total cost.
  • 15 Days before the trip departure 100% of the total cost.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations are made before 35 to 15 days from the date of travel then 50% of the total trip will be charged.  
  • Cancellations are made between 0 to 10  days from the date of travel then 100% of the total trip will be charged. 

Refund Policy

  • Refund amount will be processed within 2 weeks of business days.
  • All applicable refunds will be done in the traveller’s Bank Transfer only.

What is the best time to visit Srinagar Leh Manali Bike Trip

Jio connections is available in most part of Ladakh, if you have postpaid sim you can enjoy jio connections. Besides jio, bsnl and airtel also works in Leh.

What kind of clothing is necessary for the trip?

One always needs to be prepared for the cold as even if its summers, while crossing the passes the temperature drops drastically and it’s usually going to be very windy. Cross checking of all the essential items is important.  Most importantly, carry woolen clothing, extra pair of socks and shoes.
