Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Leh Airport

  • Your trip to Ladakh, a land like no other that extends from the glacier to the main Great Himalayas, begins with your arrival at Leh Airport.
  • Leh is the capital and largest town of Ladakh. A Golden Eagle Expedition representative will meet you at the airport and drive you to the hotel for check-in.
  • Today is set aside to allow you to settle in and rest up before we start exploring the stunning landscapes and roads.
  • By evening, our representative will meet you at the hotel and brief you on the trip.
  • Overnight stay at Leh.
  • Meal : Breakfast.

Day 2 Leh Local Sightseeing towards Sangam Point

  • Today’s sightseeing tour will cover approximately 90 km.
  • After a relaxing breakfast, we will begin by visiting Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, and the Hall of Fame, a museum dedicated to the brave Indian soldiers.
  • Our journey continues to Sangam Point, the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers.
  • In the evening, we will explore the Shanti Stupa and Leh Palace before returning for our overnight stay in Leh.
  • Meal : Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 3Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung-La Pass

  • Travel distance and time (130km / 5-6 hours)
  • Crossing the epic Khardung La Pass (17,982 feet).
  • Diskit Monastery, the monastery has 33m statue of Maitreya Buddha facing down the shayok river.
  • You can go for an adventure activities at Nubra valley as it is the hub for adventure activities, you can do ATV bike ride, Zip line, Rafting, Go karting and Double humped camel ride.
  • Overnight stay at Hundar.
  • Meal : Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 4Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shayok Route

  • We will drive towards Pangong Lake via Shayok Route (east of Ladakh ), on the border with China.
  • Travel time and distance (7-8 hours /180km approx).
  • Terrain Type (advance level as most of the terrain will be off-roading and water crossings will be there.) You will reach the Lake by evening and you will be surprise to see such a beautiful lake in the middle of mountains.
  • Pangong Tso (high grassland lake) is a high altitude salt water lake, the lake is so huge that 70% of it is in China and 30% is in India.
  • Pangong Lake altitude 4,225m.
  • Overnight stay at Pangong.
  • Meal : Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 5Pangong to Hanle via Umling La

  • Travel distance and time (285 km /8-9 hours)
  • The real beauty of Pangong lake you will observe on this day.
  • In chushul we will visit Rezang La war memorial.
  • Lunch break at Koyul and ride towards Umling La.
  • Today you will ride on the highest motorable road in the world.
  • Umling La at an elevation of 5,640 metres.
  • Overnight stay at Homestay.
  • Meal : Breakfast and Dinner

Day 6Hanle to TsoMoriri via Salsa La

  • Travel distance and time (150km /5-6 hours)
  • Terrain type (Intermediate).
  • Hanle has a lovely Monastery offering some great aerial views of the whole village that is a home of about 1000 people with altitude of 4500 Mtrs.
  • The Hanle Observatory, currently the second highest optical observatory in the world.
  • Tso Moriri is a breathtaking alpine lake situated in the Changthang Plateau of Ladakh, India.
  • It’s known for its stunning shades of blue, its remote and serene location, and its rich wildlife.
  • Overnight stay at Tsomoriri.
  • Meal : Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 7TsoMoriri to Leh via Chumathang

  • Travel distance and travel time (220 kms / 7- 8 hrs) approx.
  • Terrain Type ( Intermediate)
  • On the way you can explore Chumathang (Hot Spring ).
  • Lunch break at upshi village.
  • Thiksay Monastery and Rancho School.
  • Overnight stay in Leh.
  • Meal : Breakfast and Dinner.

Day 8Departure to Home

Early morning transfer to Leh airport to board flight back to destination. Journey ends with Sweet Memories of Ladakh.

  • 30 Days before the trip departure 50% of the total cost.
  • Pay 50% on arrival.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations are made before 15 to 20 days from the date of travel then 50% of the total trip cost will be charged.  
  • Cancellations are made between 0 to 10  days from the date of travel then 60% of the total trip cost will be charged. 

Refund Policy

  • Refund amount will be processed within 2 weeks of business days.
  • All applicable refunds will be done in the traveller’s Bank Transfer only
