UT Ladakh Kangri (6070m (19,914 ft)) is the highest mountain in the Rumste Phu Range of the Zankar Mountains a Trans-Himalayan mountain in the Ladakh. The UT peak is located in Rumste Phu which is 07 km far from the village of Rumtse. It’s 75 km distance of the city of Leh to Rumtse, Ladakh.

What to Expect

The peak was explored by some local mountaineers group from Ladakh. They also successfully scaled the height of UT Ladakh Kangri Peak at 6070m. There are many peaks around this ranges but UT kangri is the best for those who are new to mountaineering and planning to do 6000m peak at the beginning. Stunning views from top of the peaks. You will get the beautiful view of different ranges of mountains peaks like Stok Kangri, Kang-Yatse and Markha Valley.

The summit day lasts 6–10 hours, ascending over 1,000 metres from base camp to the Summit. Every day of this dramatic and varied multi-day hike differs from the one before. We’ll descend into long fertile valleys, wind our way around mountain passes and stand at the foot of the highest mountains in the Ladakh.
